The mission of The One Project is to partner with suffering families in Haiti by investing in long-term sustainable living in order to keep existing families intact, provide new families for those who need one, and connect God's Global Family with each other.
Ronald Avilma and Shara Lyn Puckett
Shara Lyn is founder and president of The One Project. She works full-time with the organization, splitting her time between Haiti and the States. Shara Lyn first fell in love with Haiti in 1995. Since then, God has been weaving together His dream and vision for ministry in her heart. She moved down to Haiti in 2010 where she met her beautiful daughter Moya. The One Project was founded in 2012 because of the need that Shara saw to not only reach out to the children of Haiti, but to the whole family. In the midst of all this, she met Ronald Avilma in 2012, who shares the same passion and vision for Haiti. They fell in love and were married in March 2013. God brought this family together to minister to His people in Haiti.
Ryan is the Associate Pastor at Freedom Church in Lebanon, IN. which he had the privilege to help plant in 2008. Ryan is married to the love of his life, Sunshine, and is wrapped around the finger of his little girl, Adeline. Ryan’s passion is to see people who are far from God and disillusioned with The Church, discover the life-giving relationship of walking with God and to discover the dreams God has placed inside their hearts! This is a huge reason why He is involved with The One Project, serving as vice president of the board. Ryan saw the God given dream in Shara and knew this was something he had to be a part of. Whether it’s planting churches in America or starting a missions organization in Haiti, people need the hope of Jesus Christ. Ryan’s heart is to partner with others, support their dreams, and to work in strategic ways to tell the world about the hope of Jesus Christ. Ryan is also a huge fan of coffee, movies, and music.

Becky's love for Haiti and God's people has grown everyday since. She feels blessed by being part of His good work there and by the opportunity to serve.
